Phi Delta Epsilon CA Theta (CSUN) welcomes you to join us in our Stand For the Kids event!
Pie the Professor?! No way?! Yes way! Come on by and pie some of CSUN's professors and advisors! Bid to pie your professors in the face! Bids to pie the professors will be sold/held in the Matador Square! All this talk about pie might make you hungry. Coincidentally, we are hosting a Taco Sale too! If you have a hankering for some delicious tacos, we have the solution for you. We will be selling tacos, Jarritos, horchata, water and root beer floats! Help us raise money for Children's Hospital Los Angeles and raise awareness! Let's Stand For The Kids!! What exactly is Stand For the Kids? Stand For The Kids is an annual event held nationally by different chapters of Phi Delta Epsilon. The goal of SFTK is to help raise money for Children's Miracle Network (in our case CHLA), Phi Delta Epsilon's philanthropic partner, by standing in solidarity for the kids who cannot stand themselves. Children's Miracle Network is a network of hospitals that provides low-cost and even free healthcare to children, regardless of their family's ability to pay. By participating in our event, you are standing in solidarity with those kids too! For every hour we stand, we are raising awareness and funds for the children at CHLA! If you would like to sponsor any of our members or our fraternity as a whole, please send us an e-mail at phidecatheta@gmail.com All proceeds will be given to Children's Hospital Los Angeles! Thank you all so much for your time!

Help support the CA Theta chapter! For every person that clicks Like on the iCampusAds Facebook page between now and Sunday 11/14, we get a dollar. Funding our organization means we can continue our philanthropic endeavors, and help support our main cause - Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. Thank you in advance! It’s that time of the year again - our fraternity will be doing a fundraiser on Tuesday September 28, which is next week. We will be doing a hot dog sale, but in order for this to be successful we need "man power". We need your help, anything is better then nothing, even if you stop by to say hello (that's still morale support). The times we need people to help out is between the hours of 10am-4pm. From 10am-11am we will be setting up the place, burning the charcoal, and hopefully if we finish setting up, by 11am we will start selling our hot dogs. This fundraiser will take place in Matador Square (the cement area just north of the CSUN science buildings). Please e-mail Jeff as to what times you will be able to help out. We need a minimum of three people per hour for this to function smoothly.
We will have shifts every hour so please sign up for one: 10am (Setup), 11am, 12pm, 1pm, 2pm, 3pm, 4pm (Clean up) CMN, Phi Delta Epsilon’s main philanthropic focus, is having Miracle Treat Day on August 5. On this day, you'll have the chance to make miracles happen for sick and injured children in your area. All you have to do is buy a Blizzard treat on Thursday, August 5 at a participating DQ location and $1 or more from each Blizzard treat sale will be contributed to your local Children's Miracle Network Hospital. It's that easy. Since 1984, DQ has raised over $81 million for Children's Miracle Network Hospitals, so let’s make this year a record-breaking year! Buy a Blizzard treat on Thursday, August 5 and make miracles happen. Find a Participating DQ Update: There will be a social event at the Orange Julius/Dairy Queen in the Northridge Fashion Center (9301 Tampa Ave Unit 75, Northridge) at 6pm to coincide with the CMN/DQ fundraiser. Update 2: This social event will also be Diana’s bon voyage - she will be attending the Chicago Medical School of Rosalind University, so make sure to stop by and give her your best wishes! |
